A new 4K restoration of Derek Jarman's late feature makes its UK premiere at BFI Southbank tomorrow. In this insight into Jarman's inner world (and garden), he faces up to his mortality and AIDS diagnosis with poetry and dignity.

The Garden screens at BFI Southbank from 21 June, including a special Q&A with the film's producer James Mackay and costume designer Annie Symons.
