It's been an impeccably strong start to the year for Diversity Role Models.
Historically, February has been our biggest month for workshop delivery each year. But in 2020, not only have we achieved our biggest delivery to date in February, but we've also taken even more bookings for March and are set to break our record again!
You can download our full 2018-19 Impact in Schools report below.
Elsewhere, we have launched our new fundraising campaign 4 to promote the great impact of a small donation in helping students create an inclusive school culture. £4 is the cost of delivering our workshop to one student, so if you haven't signed up as a regular donor yet please join today and support a student on their inclusion journey.
Meanwhile, keep an eye out for more Power of 4 content on our social media.
In schools, we were very proud to support Woodside High School as they revealed their permenant rainbow crossing with the help of Dancing On Ice star Matt Evers. Our relationship with Woodside is a template for success, as we have been delivering our workshops to all year groups at the north London school since 2015.
We couldn't be prouder of everyone at Woodside and hope other schools will take note of their approach to inclusion. Who's for a rainbow crossing outside every school?!
Looking forward, we have exciting partnerships to announce and celebrate with you. We are working with a nationwide retailer on a range of clothing which brings inclusion to the forefront 365 days a year, instead of just for Pride season, and will be marking this groundbreaking partnership at a London rooftop party on (save the date) 4 June!
With the support of our volunteers, corporate partners, trustees and patrons we can achieve excellence in the coming months, and as a staff team overcome any challenges which stand in the way as we push the DRM mission to new heights.
We continue to be thankful for the support you give us.
Adam McCann
