| | | No Barriers Here Workshops Royal Trinity Hospice are hosting ‘No Barriers Here’, an arts-based approach to Advance Care Planning. LGBTQ+ people are less likely to access healthcare for many reasons, including fear of discrimination. This can lead to members of the community missing out on the opportunity to discuss their future wishes, including how they would want to be cared for if they had a serious illness (Advance Care Planning). No Barriers Here is separated into 3 workshops where attendees are given the opportunity to explore various topics such as; who are the most important people to you, how would you liked to be cared for if you were to become unwell, have you ever thought about what you would like your funeral to look like, what do you want your lasting legacy to be? It is an amazing opportunity not just to practically create personal plans, but to share stories, hopes and concerns with a group of peers on a topic which we do not usually get the chance to discuss openly, but one which is so important. The dates for the workshops are: 3rd October 2024 | 24th October 2024 | 14th November 2024
