Public appointments

 I am looking to build relationships with external organisations to ensure our Public Appointment opportunities are being shared with as wide an audience as possible. DCMS is absolutely committed to advancing equality of opportunity in its public appointments, to ensure that boards of public bodies benefit from a range of diverse perspectives and are representative of the people they serve.

I would welcome a conversation with you on how we could encourage members of the Black Association for the Arts to apply for DCMS Public Appointment Opportunities. If this is something you would be interested in, please let me know your availability and I can schedule a call.

We currently have a number of exciting roles open for application, listed below. We also expect to be opening applications for Chair of Arts Council England soon.

DCMS are also teaming up with the Ministry of Justice, Department of Education, Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, to host an Introduction to Public Appointments Webinar on on Tuesday 21 May between 3:00 and 4:00pm If yourself or any members would like to be in the audience, please email publicappointments.applications@education.gov.uk and we will send you a Microsoft Teams invite.
